I suspect precisely no one here was surprised when I banned Coach Blackpill for Excessive Gamma. As I predicted a few weeks ago, Sigma Game will almost certainly become a Gamma-free zone because Gammas simply cannot control their need to try to prove what Smart and Special Boys they are.
Although I banned him, I did leave all of his 69 comments on the post he was infesting as an object lesson in Gamma midwittery. Nemesis provided an apt description of Coach Blackpill’s textbook performance, which accounted for more than one-quarter of the 271 comments on the thread.
It's stunning to see one in full flow like this. The complete lack of any self awareness is difficult to comprehend, at least for me. He's remarkably inoffensive for a Gamma, almost like he's learned something along the way. The display of midwittery is also very informative, it's like the very obvious IQ gap to most of those here is invisible.
In the interest of helping other Gammas understand how useless, transparent, and annoying their pedantic contrarianism is, consider the following exchange where Coach Blackpill is attempting to “help” someone alter his understanding of a historical situation that the Gamma knows literally nothing about.
JW: People have abused 'set up for failure' as a phrase and turned it into one that implies malice on the setter-upper. I seem to recall it simply meaning that a task/project/action was set up for failure because someone somewhere along the way didn't think through everything that needed to be done to achieve a goal, such as staffing, funding, whatever, hence it was set up for failure.
CB: What made you so sure your friend was not actually set up for failure? It happens. Not saying he was necessarily right, but it is totally possible he could better judge that than you.
JW: I was in a position to know.
CB: That´s ok. Perhaps he was a little paranoid. But Vox´ Gamma category is so comprehensive that it can hardly be that all Gammas are paranoid.
X: No. It's not even worth considering. When someone is set up to fail, it's obvious to everyone. I've been set up to fail before, and I was literally the last one to know about it. Because that's the entire point. If someone is setting you up to fail, and they are so clumsy at it that you know what they are doing, than they aren't subtle enough to fool anyone else.
CB: When someone is set up to fail, it shouldn´t be obvious to anyone. Like all forms of cheating; that´s the point.
X: So we agree. Than what was the point of your comment?
CB: That it is possible that he was clumsily set up to fail, so he happened to notice it.
This demonstrates why I do not tolerate Gammas here or anywhere else. I don’t tolerate them personally or professionally, and when it is necessary to interact with them for one reason or another, I keep the interactions to an absolute minimum. The combination of their pedantry, constant contrarianism, appeals to the authority of their own imagination, and blithe ability to repeatedly contradict themselves without ever realizing they have destroyed their own previous positions renders any attempt to communicate with them entirely pointless.
It is only due to the fact that I am aware some Gammas can change their behavioral pattern and genuinely want to do so that I don’t ban them on sight. I knew Coach Blackpill was a Gamma, and even suspected that he would be a particularly obnoxious one, from the moment of his first comment on the site. I leave it to the readers here to contemplate how and why.
And the total futility of permitting Gammas to participate in the discourse is well-illustrated by contrasting these two comments from him.
Pretending not to care is a trick, not more, not less. There can be an argument made for or against that pretense, but it´s a pretense, ever and always.
When you say, without further argument, that my ideas don´t amount to much, then I suspect your opinion does not matter a lot to me… I am less obsessed than most how others regard me. However, I have observed that nearly everybody but me tries to gain status by pretending he doesn´t care about other people´s opinion. It´s a very common sort of hypocrisy and I happen to dislike it.
As always, the Gamma’s need to pose as an authority and posture as some sort of dispassionate higher being who is far beyond the petty concerns of a frail and lesser humanity is revealed, even when he is claiming that everyone cares about everything and everyone at all times, and any claim to not care is “a pretense, ever and always”. Call it “the Spock tell”.
This is both psychological and intellectual incoherence on a level that renders all communication entirely impossible. There is literally no point in engaging with this sort of relentless self-delusion; it would be more profitable to spend one’s time debating a Twitter bot.
Is it safe to say a staple of Gamma behavior is they persist in arguing with you despite agreeing with you?... Because that would explain a lot. I am a woman and I've had the same thing with dysfunctional women. My brother is peak Gamma and by his mid teens it was basically impossible to have a discussion with him because it always had to escalate to an argument where I was wrong and he was right, even when we agreed or pretty much agreed on the topic. It's such a sad state to be in.
Personally I blame the internet for the proliferation of Gammas. And general civilisation too I suppose. When we started to allow certain males of the species to avoid certain dangers and left them at home safe among the women and children, they had occasion to reproduce. Then the internet and civilisation in general once more removed danger from them. Now, they spout their venomous nonsense in rivers of electronic text, secure in their basements and homes.
I have not done an in depth study of this, but I am certain that back in the times of Ancient Rome or Sparta, the average gamma lived deep in a closet, for if he dared to spout his usual behaviour in a company of regular Roman soldiers or so, he would probably end up as lion feed in the arena.
