I’d think she was dazed and confused or going to pitch a time share in Florida, but I’d notice. And the sad part boys, is that if it was the latter, there’s a chance I’d buy.
Put it off to a 3rd encounter. By then, you'll be both mysterious, a challenge (remember, men don't want a woman who's "a challenge" but women go ga-ga over that shit).
Ask HER lots of questions about herself, and keep answers about your self as brief and indirect as possible. This maintains your air of being "mysterious" and limits the opportunity for you to inadvertently say something that triggers one of her (irrational) negative triggers before she warms up to you more.

Now I know she was not interested in me socially but was looking for a workplace favor. This is just obvious manipulation when you're a mid to lower status guy.
She turned red, got flustered, and said "Oh, okay, I'll come back later."

Partly because you're always working on something, so this is your natural response to male coworkers, even the smile. Partly because you have attractive women in your non-work life, so an attractive coworker doesn't set off any hormones, which lets your response remain the same as your male coworker response.

I think the only difference is our approach. If I get the flirty initiation, I return a flirty response, even when it's a negative flirty response.
