Well, Hello There
In which Cate introduces herself to the new man at the company
Episode #100, entitled Well, Hello There, illustrates the way in which women, especially attractive women, are so accustomed to men smiling and falling all over themselves in response to the momentary bestowal of a woman’s attention that these women are quite often flustered, and not infrequently intrigued, by the few men who respond to them without showing any signs of interest in return.
It’s always fascinating to observe how simply being civil and treating an attractive woman exactly like you’d treat anyone else in whom you have no particular interest is often perceived as “hating me” by the woman who has been deprived of her expected dopamine rush.

I am a 5 on a good day, and in a dimly-lit bar. But I still pulled this move off a couple times.
Once, a female subordinate walked up behind me and brushed my shoulder "hey got a second??".
Me: "I'm sorry, I have some work to do, I will have some time later."
Now I know she was not interested in me socially but was looking for a workplace favor. I shut it down exactly this way because I don't allow myself to be manipulated like a dumb Beta with his tongue hanging out. When will men learn? This is just obvious manipulation when you're a mid to lower status guy.
She turned red, got flustered, and said "Oh, okay, I'll come back later."
Me: "Thanks, that works for me."
Just because we are not Sigmas does not mean we can't cop a few of their riffs. But you DO have to know how to play.
She came back later and addressed me like a normal co-worker, with none of the fake interest.
TL;DR---
**If you're going to open with the girlfriend experience, I expect you to close that way as well.**
Only hire men.
