The Gammas' Revenge
Revenge is never served cold
One of the greatest coaches in the history of the NFL, a man with EIGHT Super Bowl rings, was denied entry to the Hall of Fame this week.
Why? The ostensible reason is “to teach him a lesson” in retribution for his roles in the Spygate and Inflategate scandals. Which, of course, stinks of the performative morality of the Gamma, and obviously isn’t the real reason. There are murderers who are first-ballot Hall of Famers.
The real reason is that Bill Belichick is being denied the first-ballot entry to the Hall of Fame that his coaching career absolutely merits is because he was a high-performance Sigma who rightly held the football media in contempt. Years ago, someone compiled a hilarious video that consisted of nothing but Belichick’s non-verbal responses to stupid questions from reporters in his postgame interview sessions.
You’ve never seen such a litany of disgust, annoyance, and disbelief.
But Gammas never forget when someone made them feel bad, and they’ll wait as long as it takes for the opportunity to present itself.
And there is no absurdity that they will not embrace in pursuit of their primary objective of trying to make higher-status men feel the way that they feel all the time.

Belichick being a Sigma with Brady being an Alpha makes so much sense on how they were able to dominate. It’s so rare for an Alpha and Sigma to team up and play to each others strengths, and I can only see it working for something where their are two different clearly defined leaders like coach and QB.
*The ostensible reason is “to teach him a lesson” *
If it were me I would refuse to have my name ever again put forward for that award, as it is clearly given to reward compliance rather than merit.
