Sexually, no questions, but what exactly makes this guy socially Alpha?

Boy, what is old age going to be like for all these Milennial/GenZ women? Solipsism does not age well.

I wonder if he actually called her over the years, or whether she's making that up to make her sound more desirable somehow.

He comes across as pathetic if he did.

Deltas r dull. Lukewarm. Appeasing. Incapable of providing the intermittent tempest of storm und stress the female hindbrain craves. Hence most entertainment directed at women involves hammed up interpersonal psychodrama

Having been raised by an emotional rollercoaster of a father and a neurotic mother has rendered me unable to seek anything but peace and stability from relationships.

The cause of her retardation became clear as soon as I encountered her use of the word "fancied." Brit. Ugh. These are the same people that thought it'd be smart to teach Hindus to speak English so they can make call centers and call old people incessantly to try and scam them out of their life savings.

Okay, so Andrew had a very high Security scale, but was so low on the Attraction scale that he was nearly in the Friendzone the whole time they were "dating." He was little short of being her sugar daddy. He only had his King of the County status to prop him up.

I have little doubt that Andrew's mother was constantly telling him, "She's just trash." His mom was right.

Lucky for Andrew that Mark got the beast pregnant, (you know that's why he finally put a ring on it).

If Mark had dumped she probably would have gone back to Andrew.

And I guarantee she would immediately have a message on infinite loop playing in her head, "This is the bee-atch that took me back after I cheated on him. This is the bee-atch that took me back after I cheated on him. This is the bee-atch that took me back after I cheated on him..."

That's a good point. The mom was probably working both angles.

"If he won't listen to me, I'll just needle her until she gets the hint."

Regarding the differences between men and women, I’m curious if you've read Otto Weininger’s 'Sex and Character', and what your thoughts are on it. Thanks!

I read it. He says Jews are all female. And he was one, so he should know.

The discussion in the comments about class and status are interesting. Anyone have some good books to explain this stuff to a socially inept dunce like myself?

The alpha widow is a real thing. I went to a high school reunion recently and an old friend came. He was a star football player. 6’4” and good sense of humor. He was happily married. Girl in our class that he dated for a few months also came with her husband. She spent most of the weekend flirting and pinning over my tall friend. It had been 20 years.

It took her less than 6 years to regret being with a Delta, and presumably 3x as long to regret choosing Chad. Lesson #1.

I am doing my best now to help my daughters understand men and SSH will help as they get older. That said they are still women and all yo 9ften think they understand when they clearly do not.

Lord give me strength with my youngest as she will have the personality and likely stature to knock mean out of sound reason though she will need it the most.

3 take me back attempts over 3 years is painful to read. Deltas gonna Delta no matter how successful.

Also a lesson in the fact that they were together for 6 years, weren't married, and he was well off yet she was still in the work force. For comparison, within 6.5 years of when I started dating my wife, we had gotten married, had 5 kids, and she was long out of the workforce.

Deltas do find 5s to be their 10s. So it shouldn't be a problem.

Every character in this story is just following their God given hearts and minds the best way they know how. It's tragic, brutal, cathartic, and True.

I think “exciting” is overrated. What’s so alluring about “excitement?” I’m sure being chased through the woods by a maniac with axe is exhilarating. Your adrenaline would certainly peak as you stumble through the brush to escape.

No, I prefer the boring and mundane. I favor a pleasant stroll through a museum or the simple pleasure of quietly sitting on the patio sipping my favorite martini as I read an interesting book.

If the manic in the woods is hot, built, ravishes you, and then wides you up and uses the ax to keep gammas away, you’ve got yourself a best-selling (to women!) romance novel there
