Holding on to an Alpha is a never-ending challenge
It’s very hard to be the significant other of an Alpha Male. Potential competition is everywhere, and no matter how confident a woman is in the loyalty of her Alpha, the mere knowledge that he always has a plethora of options and can so easily replace her with a younger, prettier, and sexier woman tends to weigh heavily on the psyches of even the most successful and attractive women.
The weight of this awareness is why so many women make the foolish mistake of blowing up their relationship with an Alpha by attempting to exert control over him. But it is no more wise to attempt to control the uncontrollable than to deny the undeniable. It works much better to focus on being relentlessly attractive and pleasant, and thereby making it easier for the Alpha to resist the temptations of his always-available alternatives.
Jealousy is a perfectly rational and understandable emotion, but it is also a completely unproductive, even counterproductive, one. Jealousy tends to kill that which it seeks most to protect.
