This is the failure of the SSH. It refuses to acknowledge that All Whites are higher status than all disgusting mud creatures which are demons shapeshifted into a vulgar approximation of human form.
It’s crazy how obvious gamma-ness is once you’ve learned to spot it.
And how their comments/style follow so perfectly it seems like it just has to be fake. But it isn’t.
When Vox does the “count the gamma tells” posts, I’m honestly not real great at picking out the individual parts. But when one of these guys come along I can tell immediately by reading their first comment that it’s going to end in a banning. And quickly.
It’s the same in real life. I’ve always been able to tell almost immediately if a guy was a gamma although I didn’t always call it that of course. I wouldn’t really be able to say why that was or what mannerisms caused it. But I can’t think of a single instance where my initial revulsion was wrong.
Eureka, I found the appeal of AI's like Deepseek. You get the gamma knowledge database without having to talk to a gamma. To say it brusquely it shuts up when you tell it to shut up. You still need gammas to fill the data but it's a very servile librarian.
It's downright tedious. I'm seeing these gamma markers whenever some gamma tries to infiltrate my social circle. Naturally I'm "yeah, if that guy's going to be there, don't call me." People are staring at me "wtf?". Some weeks down the line, they come to me "yeah, you were right, that guys a loser." And a month or two after they are giving me looks after I don't want to deal with yet another weirdo. Girl, we're doing this for 5 times in a row, start paying attention... How is it that even though women are repulsed by gammas, they still can't help themselves from recruiting a gamma tagalong at every opportunity?
I couldn’t figure out fifteen years ago (in Austin 6th street East bars) and in the world in general why I hated hipsters so much. But now I realize it’s because it was a society of all gammas.
Gammas don't understand the concept of saving face. Changing your opinion or admitting you're wrong is not an egregious sin. In fact most reasonable people will respect you more for it, or at the very least leave you alone regarding your error. Although that's probably the last thing gammas want, as once they've captured peoples' attention they have a hard time letting it go.
You're assuming that they have friends. That they have picked up the basics of the social alphabet and its grammar. That they choose to be reliable to people they love, while their dearest are incredibly unreliable. Individual success is a team sport.
8 out of 10 men love sports with a passion. And they're not going to change, because of the ninth and tenth struggle to grasp why the beauty of sports makes good men out of boys. Questions about sports are heretical, as it's popular and healthy and good. In individual cases and for the entire group.
The ninth, the one who needs and seeks to improve his social skills, gets that normal men don't need psychiatric or psychological help. Because normal boys may not have ADHD, autism or something else, or have not gone through his shit. But he chooses to study social skills one the side. As sport-loving boys read books on the theory of the sport when they're not playing or watching sports. Because he wants to get invitations from normal men to normal parties.
The tenth, he is the loser who doesn't get that no one wants to play ball with him. Because he doesn't play ball with anyone else. So why would anyone be respectful or kind and pass another one to him? Everyone else has tried to believe in the tenth. It wasn't worth it.
Many would benefit from deliberately being wrong among their peers. It's like sparring at a good dojo - the more lumps you take, the less you fear them, and the less stress you carry around.
Not playing devil's advocate or being secretly retarded, mind you. For this to work, they need to practice being wrong and owning up to it.
If they can't take the loss, then their level of experience is much worse than you imagine. Optimism is wise and pro-social in the long run, but not with losers who fail with the basics over and over again.
Taking the L, it's a high-level move, a move which only experienced can do. Taking the L is hard, as you can't just think of what you think. You also need to think about your friend's thoughts, when you're in your crisis. If you feel that you're going to get rid of me, how do my feelings matter to me? Will my feeling save me from your contempt?
The guys on a team can rank each other, and they know who is awful at specific skills. If I'm on your team, and you and your closer friends both mop up after the shit I left on the floor, and you hide my failure to perform, then I'm lucky. If I get the opportunity to ask for forgiveness and still stay on the team. People with friends know who sucks at what, and whom to ask when specific tasks need to get done very well. If you also choose to scold me for that mess, then the words you use, those words may appear very hostile, aggressive and disrespectful. Only an insider will be calm, grateful and pleasant during that scolding. If I begin to lawyer during the reprimand, I show that I'm the opposite of an insider who gets it.
If an outsider begins to lawyer, then the outsider isn't going to get invited again. Even teenage boys fall into crime due to poor social skills, they understand rank and hierarchy. If you want respect, you give it.
This past weekend an unexpected opportunity arose to observe and then confirm a suspected gamma in the wild. When the man was first observed he was seen to be somewhat short, moderately overweight, shabbily dressed, sporting an unkempt red beard and a well-worn leather fedora. It was almost is if one of Lacey's illustrations had been brought to life. Uncanny.
After a time, the man was observed to be socially awkward, laughed at his own, unfunny jokes and when asked to participate in outdoor socializing around a fire he initially declined because he gets 'migraines', although later he did join the group. Another confirmation was the predictable negative reactions of the various people present to the gamma.
The accuracy and predictive value of the SSH cannot be disputed.
Like clockwork.
GONE GAMMA will be voxs next book
"Being sober, Christian, and a gentleman, Sir Hamster did his best to explain."
He is, and a note of thanks is in order. He doesn't have to give up time to try talking people down, but he does.
This is the failure of the SSH. It refuses to acknowledge that All Whites are higher status than all disgusting mud creatures which are demons shapeshifted into a vulgar approximation of human form.
Oh, the irony.
"Tickly point it seems."
That was just utterly eye-roll inducing.

I wonder if the Emperor without clothes was a Gamma.
Not fooling anyone.
Anyone can be tricked, how do they act when its pointed out?

Theyre wrong all the time, thats why they lawyer.
If they would just take the L, they would grow from the experience. But they would rather build a delusion bubble instead.

Taking Ls builds wisdom.
The Great Inevitable.
That ladder image cracks me up for multiple reasons
I really really want to buy one of those
Gotta give him credit, he didn't give a wall of text. That or I missed it.
I think VD is trying to see if a real life useful / tollerable Gamma exists, or are they just a thing invented by Hollywood?
That is because our host is now banning early. Walls of text are awful.
He didn't have time, he was banned right after the "tickling" comment.
I imagine he optimized. That podcast presumably would be a spoken wall of text, perhaps with a transcript.

When I first read his original post if Thought "uh oh".
Seems I too have learnt a few things SSH from this site.
When I read the original post I knew it would likely end in disaster. It was like watching a slow motion car wreck. "Stop... stop!.. crash!"
