I hate to admit it, but it appears to be true. If you go back to Sextus Empiricus and the Outlines of Pyhrronism, the oldest document to which you’ll see a reference therein is one to the lost works of Agrippa of Iliad, of which only a fragment of his Pathos survives. And topping the list of his things from which pathos can be derived is the fear of Peter Andrew Nolan, which in this case was illustrated by my craven banning of him for what was clearly an excessive period of time given average human life expectancies.
What can I say? He nailed me fair and square. I will absolutely understand if anyone who previously read this site daily feels that they can no longer do so in good conscience, and I would further point out that no one could blame them for concluding they could more profitably spend their time being illuminated by the wisdom of said Mr. Nolan.
