Malvolio, in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, is another very observable Gamma from the days when vaccines didn't exist. He makes a point of announcing that he doesn't find Feste, the professional fool, funny, gets huffy when Feste makes jokes at his expense, priggishly lectures other characters for being noisy and tipsy, harbors the belief that his employer, Olivia, is secretly in love with him, even though she's hopelessly out of his class, and, after his enemies play on that belief to get him in trouble, refuses to laugh off their prank and stomps offstage vowing revenge.
