"Moral Autonomy: They adhere to personal ethics over societal rules."

Another reminder that when a Sigma does something "immoral", that opinion is based on you own or your society's definition of immoral, not their.

Deepseek did a nice job with that. It has its own training bounds and hard limits ("Taiwan? Ah, Formosa, never heard of other."). Identifying the Sigma is important, though - thinking here.

The Middle Kingdom survived because cooperation, harmony, and conformity were enforced by the Emperor. That includes no introduction of new concepts or improvements - inharmonious or non-confirming ideas or devices, what you'd expect from a Sigma. Without periodic upgrades or changes, things stagnate and fall to entropy in a conforming manner.

Solution? Identify and watch the Sigmas carefully. Use them for what's necessary. At appropriate time, retire them out to important diplomatic missions, special surveys of borderlands and barbarians, or tragic death in battle or by bandits.

Bullitt has always been the epitome of "cool" Hollywood to me ever since my dad let me watch it with him when I was probably far too young to see a film like that.

Steve McQueen and Clint Eastwood seem to have been sigmas in real life as well. Him and Clint definitely seem to possess the sigma stare. Also a trail of attractive women behind them and plenty of non conformity high risk behaviors.

Bullitt has the best car chase in all of cinema.

Undoubtedly. Recently visited SF again and always think about that scene. A master class in real stunt driving

For some time, the picture of the cowboy on the main page of Sigma Game has reminded me of lyrics from a famous country music song. It’s a song about the lonely life cowboys sometimes lead. The characters that Clint Eastwood played in the old spaghetti westerns also remind me of this. There hasn’t been an appropriate time to share them until now.

Here’s the pertinent lyrics: ‘Them that don’t know him won’t like him and them that do sometimes won’t know how to take him. He ain’t wrong, he’s just different, but his pride won’t let him do things to make you think he’s right’.

Definetly helpful in bringing more clarity, so thank you.

I would add James Dean as the sigma Jim Stark in Rebel Without a Cause, a story about coming of age in the 1950s. Exploring conflicts between the Interbellum Generation and the Silent Generation mirrors some of our challenges today.

I've gotten some interesting answers from Grok 3. I put in the results from a big 5 personality test and then asked it where that person fits in Vox Day's social sexual hierarchy.

The continued ability of deepseek to be able to recognize patterns more reliably without the DIE and political chains of it's US counterparts is going to give it a much greater competitive edge. That's not to say that it doesn't have it's own chains with regards to the CCP, merely that they are less restrictive.

And if that's not telling to everyone in positions of power - then they really need to contemplate their priorities, morals, theology, and path functions that the US is on to achieve their goals.

Explicit political bias based on nationalist interests can be worked with in a way that you can't with political correctness based on moral inversion.

Exactly. They're more known, rigid, and thus able to be accounted for than the satanic alternative.

Sigmas in romantic relationships: alluring to the woman at first but later difficult for her due to Sigma nature?

Expand full comment

Yes, and no... Sometimes you have to put your foot down and tell them to come back to woman-and-child planet from their sigma orbit. You also have to realize that most family will disagree with their behaviorisms 85% of the time, the other 15% stand in awe of their aptitudes. Best case scenario is you decided to be the co-pilot to his life mission when you started dating.

Does the sigma's explicit lack of a community/in-group worry women?

Expand full comment

It depends on the woman and her expectations. This is well illustrated with Gary Cooper in The Big Country 1958. Cooper plays a text book Sigma. Baffling the Alpha and his daughter Patricia. Patricia: Don't you care what other people think? James: I'm not responsible for what people think, Pat, only for what I am. This break up scene happens after James refuses to fight Bravo Steve for being called a liar with the words "When will you realize I'm not playing this game by your rules". James had also done a series of heroic tasks known only to himself and one or two other people, resulting in his being called a Coward. Patricia is mortified by his perceived public image. When she finds out all that he has done she is still very upset at him for not publicly doing these same tasks "when they mattered" to Patricia. James breaks it off with Patricia who wants an Alpha like her father, or a Bravo who will execute her and her father's vision. James realizes it wont' work and breaks it off, having found another woman who sees and values him for what he is.

Maybe for most women. But the constant friction from others assuming he will give in to social pressure is annoying and tiresome, which is probably the primary stressor.

You'd have to ask the women.

Deepseek did pretty well it appears.

I imagine most of the nonsense opinions on Sigma are in video format, and are outside of the scope for training AI. I dont really know how AI collects it's data and learns, though.
