Two issues, one with this blog, the other with SSH:
– What I read here is an overblown, narrowed down version of what I see in real life. Reading here feels like a really enjoyable movie that makes you think "wow, this is life!" but out there you realize: No, isn't. So yeah, most poets /art types etc. are Gammas. Fine and true. But not many of them are those terrible people described here in length and detail when it comes to shitpiling on Gammas. Just know what you're dealing with, and you'll be able to separate the wheat from the chaff and get along with most of them.
– It's incomplete. I see a certain type of guys who get lots of girls but not much else. No leadership, no particular place in any hierarchy, not even meaningful male friends. We could call them "womanizers", but I prefer "idiots". I can't fit these in any SSH rank, and in addition, "social" and "sexual" don't align here, so this questions the whole "socio-sexual" idea.
And, as in most movements/theories that gain a certain traction, the Guru is fun, but his followers are insufferable.
Gammas will always rebel at the SSH because it takes what appears to be complex, human behavior, and reveals it to be simple and predictable. The Secret King can't be a Secret King if he is put inside a box with predictable and observable boundaries. The SSH is not concerned with the "how" or the "why," but the "what."
Virtues will always make you climb the hierarchy. Things like love, patience, and kindness are socio-sexually attractive traits world-wide. Things like strength of character and forgiveness are unanimously loved when they're applied correctly--and especially when they permeate a person's own mind, because then there actions will always be full of grace.
Hierarchy itself climbs toward the throne of Heaven.
"Virtues will always make you climb the hierarchy."
Virtues will climb the heavenly hierarchy, but we still live in a world that rebels against heaven. You may spend your virtuous life without reward.
That's why virtue requires faith and endurance in the face of systematic opposition.
"Things like strength of character and forgiveness are unanimously loved when they're applied correctly"
Jesus was hated for being good and righteous and they crucified him. Your religion needs correction. You have to value virtue above popularity and affirmation, but high social status is popularity and affirmation. Virtue is not status, though a better society rewards virtue with status.
You're actively ignoring that Christianity is persecuted in much of the world. It's also corrupted in the Western world to promote evil instead of virtue.
You're actively ignoring Jesus's teaching that those who follow him will be hated by the world. Practicing Christianity will lower your (worldly) status.
When you say that virtue makes you high status in the SSH, you are wrong. The SSH describes status hierarchy in this fallen world.
There are evil Alphas and amoral Alphas. They have charisma and good qualities that make them attractive to men and women, but they are not operating by virtue, and that lack does not remove their alpha status.
Virtuous Deltas who serve under amoral Alphas will not become Alphas through their virtue. They will continue to be Deltas. But they have the promise of an eternal reward from God for being a good servant (slave). They will enjoy more status in heaven, but not here on earth.
Making Christian-sounding noises doesn't mean you're telling the truth. Don't make an idol out of SSH.
TLDR: Men are on the SSH based on their leadership ability. Leadership makes you high status. Virtue is not leadership.
"Wolf packs for instance have a leader, who is the only one who mates."
Wolf packs are family units. Of course the young wolves are not going to mate with their own mother. But maybe our Gamma contrarian comes from a culture where this is customary. Then this retarded comparison makes sense.
For a gamma, he totally got wolf pack behavior wrong, as wolves pair up, so alpha refers to the dominant couple in a pack. Their relationships resemble human ones too, mostly monogamous, mostly long term, but exceptions everywhere, even in the same pack.
Yes, the misconception of the dominant leader of the pack stems from observing wolves in captivity, who were not related. In the wild there are no hierarchical fights within a pack.
The strongest of his six points is definitely number 3 ('if alphas are natural leaders, why are so many of those currently in power gammas?'). I gave a defense of the SSH from this possible attack in this short essay:
I knew that Deltas and Bravos appreciate Alphas, but do Gammas in some sense? Do Sigmas necessarily? I would guess for sigmas it's an intellectual appreciation and may not be universal.

It will be interesting to see how the critical reader reacts to this post to see if the criticisms were made in good faith. I believe the highly reliable predictive nature of the SSH will leave none of us surprised.
The vast majority of criticism of the SSH is going be coming from either gammas or women, and no woman is going to omit the "as a woman". There are going to be some deltas here and there, but their criticism is usually going to boil down to "but women", "but romance" or in the extreme case "muh competence".
Has Vox ever addressed the hierarchy from perspective of Christianity? What are the challenges each type face in following Christ? I would suspect that there are very few godly alphas and sigmas because of the sexual temptations they face. Gamma narcissism would be a an obstacle to humility. It would be an interesting post.
Yes, but the monomaniacal spiritual folks ruin the discussion. There is one place where we discuss this topic in a productive environment, and it's a closed group that requires an annual fee to access (Social Galactic).
Once I'd gotten over the initial "what am I?" and "sure could have used this in the '90s," I started using SSH to deal with leadership and individual contributors in my consulting practice. The ability to add hierarchy navigation to technical mojo added $50K to the yearly cash pile. I am now up to $100K. That's a $100K increase because of the usefulness of the services delivered. And that usefulness comes from a practical, daily understanding and use of the SSH.
Deltas, Omegas, Gammas, and, to a small extent, women can use the SSH for self-improvement by merely recognizing their place in the hierarchy and smoothing over the rough spots when dealing with others.
Bravos, Alphas, and the occasional Sigma are less interested in self-reflection and more interested in hierarchical navigation and benefit — ultimately, the benefit of the group as a whole and the support of the leadership structure.
The businesses that choose to adopt and incorporate the upcoming SSH book into their leadership will see their businesses imrpove in moral and function. Unless those in leadership are already Gammas, well good luck then.

You're talking about sigmas in paragraph 3 bro. There is a reason women like them and you are hostile.
Nope. Sigma succeeds and usually commands attention. These types are typically unremarkable.
Sadly, illusory linguistic sophistication still != substance.
Almost beastial, really.
All I could think is "Gamma says what?"

There's no celestial/bestial divide.

You've completely ignored the part where Christianity is the world's most popular religion.
You've completely ignored the part where Jesus already won the battle.
Your lack of faith is blinding you to the obvious.

Wall of text.
Observe, world.
Self-proclaimed "Fat Bald Man" from "Suicide Darkweb" acts like he's an SSH expert while perverting Christian thought.
No one's going to listen to you, but your wrong ideas are worth destroying.

This "critic's" status seems pretty apparent

I would disagree. The strongest Alphas that I knew kept a Bible on their desk. Rumor had it that they were players in their younger days.
And that low bar is still superior to the AI criticisms.

Confirmed that is the best setting Ive found besides garage mens book studies.
