I’m not saying that Marilyn Monroe wasn’t an attractive woman. She was indubitably pretty. She was certainly cute. She had a nice sparkle to her eyes and the sort of healthy curves to which men are naturally drawn.
But a great beauty, let alone a historic icon of female beauty? Not a chance. Even at her bleached, surgically-enhanced, and manufactured best, she was never more than an 8/10. And in her purely natural state, she was more like a 6.5.
Now granted, your mileage will inevitably vary. But I simply don’t see any case for her supposed status as some sort of modern Helen of Troy.
When I was a young lad, it confused me that some women were held in such high esteem for their beauty when I could see prettier girls among my classmates.
And while I agree that MM wasn't that pretty, I think she was used as a pawn by Hollywood, which by then had been captured by the Frankfurt School and was being used as a weapon to foist the Sexual Revolution upon America and the West. I remember reading an interview with a common man in the 1960s when Playboy Magazine was a new thing. He said he had never seen a pretty whore until Playboy began showcasing beautiful women. The beauty of a woman was designed to be an exclusive show for one man, her husband. By promoting beautiful women behaving like whores the Sexual Revolution was designed to encourage all women to think and act like whores. I'd say it has been an amazing success. Once a woman falls in love with the camera she will never be satisfied with the love of one man. Women lust to be lusted after. Instagram and Onlyfans enable all women to feel likePlayboy models. And it ruins them, just as it ruins the men who become addicted to them.
