As expected - the SSH is a PREDICTIVE model, after all - this week’s pair of posts related to the philosopher Nietzsche resulted in more comment-bannings than we normally see in two or three months. This was because Gammas see in the insane, urine-imbibing philosopher’s delusions of superiority a justification for their own similar delusions, and they interpret any criticism of Nietzsche or his philosophy as a personal attack on them.
But these incidents are both useful and informative, because it underlines for women and all the higher-status men how intrinsically insane the Gamma mindset is to everyone else. The answer to the oft-asked question “why can’t he just…” is always “because he is intrinsically incapable of doing so.”
The more you apply the SSH, the faster and more effectively you are able to apply it.
Consider the cri de coeur of one Anomie, a Nietzsche-defending atheist Gamma who was astonished at how quickly the readers here were able to identify him and reject him.
Why do people spam me with a million rude comments unprovoked if you don't resent everyone who thinks different? I was never rude to anyone until they attacked me first. I don't need lectures about kindness from a crowd like this, I'm 1000 times closer to God than any of you will ever be.
What Anomie failed to understand is that he wasn’t attacked for thinking differently or for being rude, he was being openly rejected and ejected from the community because the SSH-aware readers here immediately recognized him for what he was, an unrepentant Gamma for whom there is no place here. I informed him to that effect.
Because everyone who thinks different doesn't think like you. You are an evil little person who hates everything that is good, beautiful, and true. And everyone correctly sensed that about you from your very first comment. Note that you confirmed their conclusions very quickly.
It’s not really fair to say that Gammas are uniquely evil. In truth, all are fallen short of the glory of God and no one is truly righteous. But Gammas are particularly evil, by virtue of the specific nature of their personal shortcomings. The Gamma is, quite literally, a little satan, an accuser and a mocker, by nature. Indeed, it is the rare interaction with a Gamma that does not involve at least one accusation made by the Gamma, quite often aimed at his interlocutor.
As I have advised young men seeking to control, if not eradicate, their Gamma strains, omit the word “you” from your vocabulary in any conversation in which you are being criticized. Do not even address the other individual in any way, shape, or form, much less give into the temptation to attempt to direct the criticism away from yourself by inverting the subject. Nothing is more Gamma than responding to criticism with the phrase “well, you…” The resort to accusation under pressure, particularly the pressure of well-merited criticism, is one of the strongest and most recognizable signs of Gamma there is.
Consider in this vein the initial post by Anomie. See if you can recognize what others here, including myself, immediately spotted as tell-tale Gamma signs.
Nietzsche wouldn't be a reddit atheist, he would probably consider modern secularism to be an extreme form of slave morality. His atheism lost hard. He ended up achieving his dream of being a high status ubermensch posthumously so the insults ring pretty hollow. I'd say being one of the most influential philosophers of all time is a bigger achievement then making women like you.
There are at least five clear Gamma signs in that single comment. See how many you can spot and list them in the comments.
“The Gamma is, quite literally, a little satan, an accuser and a mocker, by nature.“
This hit me where I live. I will endeavor to be less satanic as a result of this line.

In the face of justified criticism, this is certainly true.
If another party is demanding performance of an obligation when they themselves haven’t fulfilled theirs (and especially if your performance is a precondition of theirs) then it’s a reasonable response.
