The Wrong Objective
Ask not how you can be "more Alpha"
I need more content about how to be a successful top 5% man. I was always a loser but now that I'm older and divorced, suddenly the tables are turned and women chase me. I don't really know how to deal with this. I spent thousands of hours learning how to stop being an AFC and get laid, but that was 25 years ago and now I need new material, how to be the best alpha you can be.
This is the wrong question and it is one that is often asked.
“How can I be an Alpha” is fundamentally a category error.
The better question is “how can I portray myself as less obvious a [actual SSH rank]?”
It’s important to understand that one’s SSH rank is essentially equivalent to one’s height. You cannot be any taller than you are. You can fake being taller through a variety of means, of course. You can wear lifts in your shoes, you can adopt a bouffant hairstyle, you can, like Dave Portnoy, make a habit of standing on your toes whenever you’re in a picture with taller men.
But just as standing on your toes doesn’t fool anyone for long, attempting to pass yourself off as something that you are not isn’t going to work very well either.
Now, this doesn’t change the fact that for various reasons, a Bravo, a Delta, or even a Gamma may find himself in a situational Alpha position. Indeed, some men are inevitably going to find themselves in that position as they grow older, simply by outliving the rest of their male competition. Even the most cringe-worthy Gamma may find himself surrounded by women who are interested in him if he can make it to the age of 80 without succumbing to dementia or the Grim Reaper.
That being said, never making the mistake of confusing situational Alpha status with the ingrained behavioral patterns of your natural SSH rank. Which is why it returns us to the correct question of how a man can successfully portray himself as less obviously whatever he actually is and has always been.

Can't wait for the page with detailed instructions in the book.
"How to appear less gamma: shut the fuck up."
A lot of people can hide their inner Gamma well, but from what I have seen, and it could take years to come through, once they are in a situation where things are going south, the inner Gamma comes out with vengeance. I have seen this with someone I thought was relatively Alpha who started a business, got loads of funding, heaps of praise, thought he was king shit on turd island. I told him I thought his business idea kinda sucked.... When all the investors money was gone and he hadn´t paid his developers in 5 months, the inner gamma came out stronger than ever. it was epic.
