The SSH Perspectives
How the various SSH ranks view their responsibilities
Yesterday, I described the fundamental Delta perspective as being “I am doing my job”, which naturally led to the question of what the other SSH perspectives are in this regard. This is how I would define them.
ALPHA: My job is to make sure everyone else has a job and knows what it is.
BRAVO: My job is to make sure everyone is doing their job correctly.
DELTA: I am doing my job. Please tell me how well I am doing it.
GAMMA: My job is to observe, advise, and criticize how well everyone else is doing their job, including the Alpha. Whose job, by the way, I could do better than him.
SIGMA: My job is none of your business.
OMEGA: I suck at my job. They’re probably going to figure it out and fire me.
LAMBDA: My job is a great way to meet new people and hit on them!
These are, of course, generalities. But I think you’ll find they tend to hold up reliably over time.

Not only is it my job to make sure everyone has a job and knows what it is, it's my responsibility to create a safe space for men to have jobs that feed their children without having to bow to covergence, clown world ideas, or struggle sessions.
These breakdowns are the easiest way for people to grasp the SSH and see the contrasts. It's kinda like how each Power Ranger has a color. This format also makes it really easy to share with others. Thank you, Vox.
