We are nothing alike.
One of the weirder things about the SSH percolating out into the wild is the way Gammas not only start to imagine that they are Sigmas, but the way they subsequently demonstrate by their actions that they don’t have even the faintest notion of what a Sigma actually is.
For example, on a regular basis, I will get an email from some Gamma who has just encountered the SSH for the first time. He will burble on happily about how he now understands what he is for the first time in his life, offer various justifications to explain why he is, really and truly, a Sigma just like me, and, at the end of his Wall of Text, he will ask me to respond to him for no reason beyond his belief that because we have so much in common, I will obviously want to be in constant communication with him going forward. After all, we have so much to discuss!
Needless to say, these emails go directly into spam.
It’s very, very far from the only one, but one readily observable difference between Sigmas and Gammas beyond the obvious Cheerleader Delta is the fact that Sigmas actually do things and go places, while Gammas only daydream about doing things and going places.
I was one of three people from the 160 or so graduates from my Midwestern high school to go to university on the East Coast. Not a big deal, but still, a departure from the normal path. I was one of two people from my university to study abroad in Japan. Again, not a big deal, but a departure. For spring break my senior year, my two housemates and I went to London. Hardly exotic, and yet again, a departure from the usual pattern of Daytona Beach or Cancun.
Even my first band wrote and recorded original music. My second band never even learned to play a single cover. Contrast that with the vast majority of musicians, including some of the most skilled instrumentalists, who never bother to compose one single song they can call their own.
If you want to get anywhere, you have to go somewhere. If you want to achieve anything, you have to do something. It’s not rocket science.
So shut up and stop talking. Don’t tell others about your dreams and your plans. Just pursue them.

Someone told me that merely saying that you're going to accomplish something, whether it's writing a book or learning a new skill, gives you almost the same amount of dopamine as actually doing it. Talking about your plans can be dangerous.
Women and gammas look for reasons NOT to do something.
