Hmmmm, I wondered what's so "off" about this dorky, "bundle-o-sticks"-looking Louis Theroux.

Well, here it is: "Louis Theroux has Jewish ancestry through his maternal grandmother." Well, well, well: Every. Single. Time. It's not even funny anymore how predictable that rule-o-thumb is.

There may not be a direct mention of Rollo Tomassi, but he is a regular guest on Myron Gaines show, who indeed has YT online fame, and who apparently is included in that Netflix show. This fact doesn't change the negative judgement about that show -- they just lie by omission.

Rollo Tomassi keeps pointing out painstakingly that 1. all the analysis he presents is mostly based on openly available data (often sourced from US government statistics or similar), and more importantly that 2., he refuses to give guidance to young men on how to behave and engage with women. They need to draw their own conclusions based on the facts and analysis presented. This is what Manosphere or Red Pill stands for -- to first and foremost understand the mere facts (about female and also male behaviour, especially towards each other), as much as is possible given our past observations plus any new data, and to try and keep all emotion outside of the analysis. Whether or not young men want to act accordingly is left up to them.

Whereas Myron Gaines, at least implicitly, does gives recommendations, in the form of "I would never do XYZ with the women I date" or "what I would do in this case is abc". The only problem here is that his own (declared) behaviour towards women is very obviously much more influenced by his Sudanese-Arab heritage, rather than by the Red Pill insights that he undoubtedly has gained from Tomassi and others, plus his own experience etc.

And the two men's "love lives" are polar opposites: Tomassi is happily and monogamously married, and openly faithful to his wife; I say "openly" because this may be seen as somewhat commercially detrimental to his media business (books, YT channel, etc.). Gaines maintains a Miami-flavoured harem, just like an Arab sheikh.

In the end, as ever, nature trumps nurture, and heritage trumps magic dirt.

Roosh nor I?

Roosh took the "God pill" and went offline a decade ago.

I miss MrSex4UNYC.

Bring back alt.seduction.fast and the text-based internet with significant barriers to entry. You had to operate a UNIX shell and run tin to even participate.

It would be great for someone to go into the archives and see what was right and what was wrong.

How's Ross Jeffries these days?

"Myron" is a Sudanese Islamoid.

Tate is a half-black, closeted, Romanian pimp.

Media: Let's make them spokes-creatures for vaguely right leaning topics!

Jeff Hammond's avatar

Myron is a retarded grifter, the other two are…just judge them by their names, and the blue-haired other uber-douche they hang out with. Presenting these as “manosphere” bros is simply more gamma delusion.

Being that MPAI, one would assume that they are getting every bit of what they deserve from a documentary they can understand, however stilted. ‘Quivering behind their sofas’ are they? If it is agreed that humanity sees through a glass darkly, how then must these poor buggers perceive the world in which we live? Likely with blinders on, set in front of one really big broken mirror.

Yeah, I learned this lesson about 30 years ago. I don't even remember what the issue but I wrote a pretty good concise letter to a newspaper in response to their stance on something. They printed an apparently deranged person's antagonistic response but not mine. For a while that puzzled me as I, foolishly, thought they were on the up and up. Then I realized that the establishment will never fairly represent points of view other than their own.

Would like to hear Vox's take on Andrew Wilson.

The Kurgan's avatar

He’s controlled oppo. And a fake Orthobro by all credible accounts.

BodrevBodrev's avatar

Let's face it, the guy makes nearby women visibly uncomfortable.

Shefi1280's avatar

I suspect Vox has better things to do. He may not even know who Andrew Wilson is. Or care.

Target Número Uno's avatar

Meh. He knew and commented on other "manosphere" influencers like sneako

Seems to be that he's more recently cranked up bring obnoxious for clicks. He's intentionally trying to trigger women with his comments.

The media's marxian anti-boy and anti-man narrative causes young men to abandon it: they quickly realize it's not on their side. Women, on the other hand, are not so resistant as it panders to their narcissism and materialism.

As a result men consume media from wider sources of opinion than women, generally. I suspect this is a big cause of men moving more to the right in recent years as women have moved farther left. That and the fact that information alternatives are within easier reach - after all, the media had been anti-male for a long time already before the term 'manosphere' was needed.

This is what happens as a man when you actually give a fuck about what society thinks of you. Don’t. Just don’t. Don’t adjust. Be who you are.(gammas, be better) Listen to the honest voices, the objective and truthful ones.

The Delta section of Sigma Game could actually change the world if they (and alphas and bravos) read and understand it. If you’re listening to the algorithm voices, and not wisdom that comes from God, and God-breathed sources, western society is doomed. Men need to be comfortable with who they are, and strive for improvement. Your worst enemy stares at you in the mirror every single morning. Work on him first.

Strickland, if you're reading this, don't beat up any more dorks. Apparently it makes them too manly and radicalized.

Dr. Franz Hott's avatar

Thank you! I was wondering for a bit where I had heard that silly name, "Sneako", before. But I was unable to place it.

But yes, of course: His only claim to online fame, as it is, is to have been beaten up, repeatedly, by a few professional boxers / kick-boxers. Including that insane Strickland who treated him with some OTT cruelty. Mostly, that happened after openly disrespecting these men, live on camera. And afterwards, whining (again on camera) how unfair the world is, now that he has to foot the bill for the dentist to replace that knocked-out tooth, and his legs hurt, and blah. And how he is "going to sue them all." Apparently, any "content" is good content, no matter how retarded and self-inflicted. To a retard, that would be.

Some prime example of "masculine Alpha" right there!

The Kurgan's avatar

What OTT cruelty are you even talking about? Strickland was really very decent about it all in my view.

BodrevBodrev's avatar

Strickland was his best case scenario. He just humiliated him a bit and hit him twice. Had he been your average meathead, Sneako would be in the hospital for weeks. Strickland is not insane, he demonstrated the best way to deal with dorks like him without hurting them too much.

No Roissy, Roosh, or Rollo? No Vox or Dalrock or Hawaiian Libertarian? Not even The Guy With The Jamiroquai Hat? 'Cause it's not The Manosphere without The Guy With The Jamiroquai Hat!

But we have "Tikkytokky"" and "Sneako." It's like doing a documentary of grunge music but skipping Nirvana, AIC, and Soundgarden and only featuring poseurs like Staind and Godsmack.

Mile High Bear's avatar

The fact that Great Books For Men (GBFM) failed to even receive an honorable mention tells us how much these types know wrt "The Manosphere".

Harland's avatar

They know, they're deliberately misrepresenting it. Remember Cassie Jaye and her movie The Red Pill when she set out to run a hit piece on the Men's Rights Movement and she found to her shock that men really were getting fucked over.

Funding was immediately pulled and her film banned from Australia. It was eventually released but nobody saw it.

I had forgotten all about Ben Bernanke in a helicopter with a video camera until just now. Gotta give Da GBFM credit for a good rhetorical shot with that one.

I'm amused to hear some of these names outside of the 3 R's. Dalrock and Hawaiian Libertarian must have had more of a following than I thought. Nice Mystery reference.

Harland's avatar

I'm glad they didn't bring up Gunwitch. I still have his Method saved in a file from way back even then.

He must be out of prison by now. Or did he get life? Someone ask an AI, I'll go make a donation to his commissary account. Or start up a correspondence like people did with Uncle Ted.

No matter how solid or correct your philosophy, you don't have a movement until someone who is a walking crime against fashion joins.

Journalists can't do anything without people who fall for their tricks. The real guys are disciplined.

I remember a story about a journalist who joined the Red Pill subreddits and asked the real guys to do the journalist's work for them. They spotted the journo instantly and didn't give him anything. And the journalist was pissed that no one wanted to do the investigating for free, and no one wanted to walk into the noose.

Sneako doesn't see the trap and believes that the cheese is free.

Harland's avatar

When Project Veritas tracked down all those lying journalists and asked them questions about their lies on the street, all of them immediately clammed up, didn't answer anything and a few went into a full-on sprint running away. Learn from the pros. You do the same with presstitutes. Don't give 'em an inch!

Aaron Kulkis's avatar

Look into the difference between journalism and reporting.

A journalist comes up with a story to push, and THEN looks for tidbits to offer as confirmation, then writes the story.

A reporter hears something, then investigates what's going on, and lets the story and facts speak for themselves.

One journalism trick is to start out with a paragraph or two sounding sympathetic to one side.... and then spending the entire rest of the piece attacking that side. This deceptive practice was taught to me by an English Composition teacher who was an occasional stringer.

Cedric's avatar

That explains how disgusting the journalists are. They are liars by trade. They falsify the science, the numbers and the story.

Aaron Kulkis's avatar

That's the reason why Vox advises to NEVER grant an interview to any member of the press, especially those in the MSM, no matter how much they plead with you to "tell your side of the story."

NEVER trust anyone who went to Journalism school. They all want to "change the world!" and so, they'll deliberately, in a premeditated fashion, all planned out ahead of time, ask you a question, and later ask you another question, and splice your answer to one question AS IF it was in response to the other question, so as to make you appear to be either a fool or abjectly evil.

Note that newspapers did well for centuries without there ever being a single "journalism school" on the entire planet. You don't need to go to school to report the facts, and before J-schools, most reporters didn't even get into the newspaper or news magazine business until they were in their 40's, because guys in their 20's and early 30's were considered too naive and inexperienced with life to catch on to when someone is lying to them.

Gotta ask; whatever happened to Roissy/CH? I’m least familiar w HIS current life.

Speaking of sneako, the mog war ‘fallout’ in the Gen Z manosphere is hilarious. As if young men never tried to one-up each other publicly before now.

The archives survived miraculously at heartiste.org

Someone go through it and see where he was right and wrong.

The really remarkable part is when feminists would show up in the comments and have actual civilized conversations. The miracle of non-centralized social media where the government can't delete whole topics at once.

Floyd's avatar

Feminists back then were a little less screechy and delusional. Their delusion bubble is bigger and thicker now, and their entire egos and lives are entirely invested feminist dogma.

The original Roissy writer was doxxed way back in 2009/2010. He was some government contractor. After that, the blog name changed to Chateau Heartiste (from Roissy in DC) and he brought in more writers. Generally it's believed he was still writing in CH until at least 2012 or so

Unknown if he disappeared or really pivoted to politics. Like Pook and Dalrock, there's a good chance he's just gone

Floyd's avatar

I'm curious as well. Roissy's blog was taken down when he started touching on major politics and race. Allegedly he was seen on gab when it started, but he was very good at keeping his identity private so who knows if was actually him. Dunno if he was ever doxxed. Only a few fellow big "manosphere" guys knew him personally back then.

Harland's avatar

It's still at heartiste.org

I remember warning him over and over that blogspot was going to take him down and to move to his own server. Lo and behold they deleted him. Thedawn of cancel culture.

No idea how the archive got restored.

Think about the amount of time, money and energy that is put into keeping this illusory fake world alive just to deny easily observable objective reality. They have built themselves a fragile, but monstrous house of fake and gay cards. Anti-feminism is the least of their worries. When the West comes back to its senses and embraces masculinity and God's natural order again, and it will, the forces behind clown world will be lucky if they are only eradicated by fire.
