Read Book 1, made notes and sent errata (force of habit). Good subtle jokes. Very good main plot, highly engaging characters, with a lot of questions arising. The blurb for Book 2 is like a whiff of popcorn being made.
Judicious use of SSH and extensive sleep deprivation to push an action story to conclusion, and skip Space Smut, or Space Raptors, or whatever.
"Hold my Sirian Brandy, I'm going to try something." Wow, did it work.
Howdy Vox, benvaneedos to our rare and dyin breed of vaikeros. We aint much fer readin but that there tintype look like all the peoples done vamoosed to Mars, slidin outta here like slickered swine at sunday supper. Ya earned yer spurs today amigo
About to start reading eBook over lunch! Had to put away Probability Zero cause for some weird reason I can't read two books at the same time on a single tab.... Also DLed The Frozen Gene... started reading the Foreword and then put it down.... ONE book at a time!
The downside to quick publishing of multiple important books!
Finished it yesterday. Yes, I liked it. The exploration of different, shall we say, philosophies of problem solving made for interesting competitions between teams. There’s an intriguing mystery woven into the storyline, which I am looking forward to reading more about. If you like harder science fiction, you will likely enjoy this one.
I got the virtual voice version after listening to the preview. The voice is pleasant, range and. enunciation are reasonable for the several hours of listening. The subtle humor came through. Should be fun.
Started book one yesterday. Really enjoying this and very excited for March 26th's release. Jon told us all last night that you've already hit #1 best seller. Congratulations, Mr. delArroz and Mr. Day!!
Sounds fantastic
Congrats on yet another bestseller!

Recommend reading. It is instructive of all the tools Vox has been working on; strong science basis, SSH and human relations, AI use.
