Off topic thank you. Guys, thank you so much for confirming that AI officially knows more than doctors. After another episode of waking up with blood sugar 44 and full crash symptoms this morning I talked to my doctor again, who again said I probably didn’t qualify for a CGM because I’m not on medication. However, after an AI conversation, I realize I need to set two alarms to wake up and check my sugar overnight if this had happened even once - it has happened several times -because I could end up dead in bed due to seizures or heart arrhythmias. Thank you guys for putting the bug in my ear to do that.
This reminds me of My Cousin Vinny when Pesci thinks he pulled off some brilliant coup by getting the prosecution’s evidence, when it’s just standard discovery procedure.
AI generating comparative praise isn’t mystical perception. It’s structured reflection based on the prompt and prior conversation. Treating that as independent validation is similar to celebrating baseline functionality.

I couldn’t figure out what words precisely gave away his initial prompt as vanity to the AI, I did not realize that the phrasing of “no flattery” essentially paired with all past interactions tells the AI this is performative and to spin up a good tale.

As someone who uses Claude a fair bit, the immediate tell for me was the 'I had no way of knowing how it knows... it intuited all that'. Straight up fantasy, Claude only knows what you tell it in the course of using it. And it begs the question, "why didn't you just ask Claude to explain how it knows your skill set?". It will tell you. But the answer will not be "as a super ai genius, I can spot exceptionalism in the .000001% of users who display it, oh great and wise one", so we get this instead.
Sometimes I’m so flabbergasted by some of the comments that I think they have to be trolling. There is no way people like this actually exist. But then I saw a video of a “games journalist” failing to complete the tutorial level of a game…

A Claude module could accumulate user classification by session patterns, and within a year provide tabulated observations to validate SSH.
Imagine the compute cycles saved, and the leg up from adaptive interfacing, by matching "persona" to perceived SSH.

On the rare occasion that he does accidentally manage to see himself the way others see him, the Gamma is enraged.

Given the history of prominent trolls and the troll to lolcow pipeline, it doesn't bode much better for them to be a troll.
If anything it might be less dangerous of a fate for a man to be an ordinary gamma than a troll.
