78 comments (79 now) on a few-paragraph post about not being a bitch in conversations. Holyyy shit, Vox. Some replies are more words than your post. You’ve really created something masterful. Respect, man.
Vox, are you planning on writing anything about gamma public intellectuals (aside from JP)? I was just reading an article on Dawkins' folly and remember how punchable is face is, him clearly revelling in the mass acceptance of his secret kingship and being willing to tear down Christianity to keep the adulation coming. I think gamma traits get amplified by fame and we see a new domain for gamma expression - when they believe they've taken the alpha spot.
For whatever reason on Vox Popoli there is a large collection of clashing, refutation or comment on many many gamma intellectuals. Probably because they are the main lying faces for globohomo.
Vox has written a lot on Gamma public intellectuals. For example Miles Mathis was featured very recently. He also calls out Gamms on his blog and streams as they come up.
Atheists are often Gammas. Besides Gammas not many have such a lack of humility that they will relentlessly mock God and their own roots. The delusion of grandeur is there too, Sam Harris for example wrote a book defining all morality.
I have not paid enough attention to Dawkins to determine if he is a Gamma or not. Scanning Vox Popoli, Dawkins has always harboured the thoughts. The piece is rather prophetic.
1. Atheist who attempts to convert others to his cult, without attempting to create in them the internal boundaries he claims to possess.
2. Atheist who prefers/enjoys the culture that he attempts to undermine.
3. Buffet-style culture admirer; wants the freedoms without associated responsibilities, which are likely the sexual ones.
As with most such "Cultural Christians", go LARP in Church for an hour a week and shut up in public about your rotted-out philosophy. That way you can have the culture that you want to parasite.
Rogue Roman With the interesting topics again. You're a top-tier commenter here.
So, are there any useful emojis? Probably. It's just like RL emotions. If the emotion is a genuine reaction and not used merely for aesthetic/ironic reasons, then you're dealing with a woman. Women are socially retarded.
Here's an observation:
Emojis: almost always g@y or retarded. Why?
1) it's emotional.
2) illiterate people and people that can't catch the drift use them to be obvious in their messages. Being obvious is a stupid people thing, alt. a weak person thing.
But to say that there are no useful emojis is retarded. How else can we refer to 🦍 destroying and looting things in a more eloquent way? It's just so eloquent.
Emojis are generally group facing. You give someone the 😂 😂 😂 😂 because you want to signal to the group that the target should be mocked or to signal a group you are part of. In a one-on-one they confuse communication that could be done with words; Heartiste used to say that sending strange emojis to women who already like you was a way to get them to think you had said something meaningful to decipher when in reality you said nothing.
So emojis have their place, in the same way as saying "I graduated from Harvard" does.
An almost iron clad rule us this: if someone is using 'lol' online to deride or scorn you; laughter as a mechanism of intentionally displaying superiority while avoiding conflict, especially from behind a keyboard.
That's 99.9% a gamma.
Deep in the gamma psychology, he assumes any display of assertiveness, like a casual "eat a d*ck, f@ggot" is a display of violent, out if control rage. Gammas are women in (udually) ugly and frail men's bodies. They're terrified of any physical altercations taking place, and all displays of assertiveness are seen as "cringe" because the gamma is obviously totally above fighting for anything. But you wouldn't understand. You see, he is a god among men, capable of harnessing the power of words to win his fights. HE IS A SORCERER OF THE MIND.
Microcommunications are underestimated. They evoke up flash impressions of basic nature or puncture an illusion. There’s almost no changing that. It’s similar to how one lie destroys trust, but vaguer. The SSH being more impressionistic in nature.
It seems pointless to worry about how your communication comes off beyond what’s appropriate circumstantially. Certainly for this kind of identity management. That sort of image obsession is a gamma path, unless graduating gamma.
I only started using lol because once Owen banned a gamma for using it in a snarky fashion and because of that so many people stopped using it, desperately wanting to prove they were not gammas. That annoyed me because as Vox pointed out, gammas immediately started using it as an excuse to call someone else a gamma because you know, that means they can't also be gamma because they only say "haha" now that they know it's a gamma tell to habitually include lol so frequently and frivolously throughout their messages like they always have.
I decided to start using it appropriately when something makes me literally laugh out loud to restore it's original use. A funny meme. A funny joke. Definitely not in any manner other than the appropriate stand alone "lol". Not "*passive aggressive insult* lol". Or at someone's expense. Or as an insult to the op. If something is really funny I boomer cap LOL. It is fascinating how an emoji and an lol can be unmistakably gammatude.
I consciously try to add lol to comments when I'm trying to needle a person I consider gamma/sociopathic. I began doing this based on the mirroring-the-gamma technique I picked up in my practice, where, if I was faced with gamma/sociopathic behavior/arguments, I would merely do the exact same right back, including repeating word-for-word the opponents' arguments or fake-laughing at them. It almost always works to infuriate gammas/sociopaths both IRL and online. While it was hardly a "victory" it always at the very least neutralizing and, sometimes, caused the gamma/sociopath to disengage.
Although I am a gamma, I was not doing this as an unconscious thing to protect my ego; I have various other things that I do for that. Its a relief to me that my consciously doing this as part of a calculated response is not the same as an "automatic" gamma tell or proof of irredeemable gammaness.
You do understand the irony of your comment, do you not?
This is what I mean by the way behavioral patterns will ALWAYS reappear, again and again.
You're not only telling us about your feelings, but you're even explaining them. And you didn't even require a prompt to do so. I'm not saying you shouldn't or criticizing you for doing so, it's absolutely fine.
But it is literally telling people more about you than you may intend.
Yes, I get that. For many years in my life, going back to middle school, people would laugh and make fun of me for "oversharing." I never quite knew the social line, would often leap over it, and be resentful of those who mocked me. And of course that caused the gamma-grudges against them for their laughter---nothing hurts a gamma more than being laughed at (EDIT: hence why the mirroring the lols at gammas works).
I can still recall many of those names and faces who did so. I try to forgive now, but it is a daily process to continue doing so.
You failed to laugh with them. everyone farts in a silent room from time to time. its the secret king that thinks he's the fart. the secret king proves himself right by forgiving people. You need to see that its wrong to resent them. ask God to forgive you. You don't have the power to forgive. Luke 23:34
This autistic gamma fixation with freezing rules is so they can game and arbitrate the system (and other people) with their delusion.
"I stopped saying LOL, therefore I have *always* been SIGMA LEVEL and you can't say otherwise because I can call you a gamma cause 1 time last week you said LOL."
I think gammas use rules as both weapons and armour. They lack any personal weight to throw around and also deep down constantly fear exclusion from the group. So they try to get leverage via rules. All kinds of games are played to show they can't be excluded because they followed the rules, and you will be excluded for breaking the rules unless you recognise the secret king.
I think a good gamma tell is attempts to play gotcha with rules that leaving everyone wondering wtf. Everyone else sees rules as creating group harmony while the gamma is throwing them around for personal advantage at the cost of group function
This would explain the Jewish behavior of taking everything to a lawyer rather than just having an over-the-fence conversation with the neighbor whenever the two have different visions about what to do along the property line.
Omegas will generally either ignore the issue, and do their own thing on their side of the property line. Other non-gammas will generally talk to the neighbor and try to come up with a unified plan that both parties can live and work with (even if neither gets their own, personal "ideal"). The gamma-tude in Judaism drives them to get a lawyer and put it in front of a judge, preferentially a Jewish judge. The unstated reason being "Because, how can we possibly have a society where one pair of of neighbors on Elm Street comes to a different arrangement than the other neighbors on 3rd Avenue, and yet another between a pair of adjoining neighbors on Lafayette Boulevard? We can't have all of these people just making up their own solutions!" as if literally every aspect of life is a legal question straight out of Leviticus
The Map isn't the Territory. Patterns matter, particulary when you are looking across somewhat orthogonal-to-ssh axes such as Extroversion-Introversion.
Yes. Do turn in your Gamma Reality Police badge. It doesn't actually exist.
Style is observable appearance. It is not dependent upon source. The fact that there is a machine algorithm in between the prompt-provider's intentions and the final output is irrelevant.
When I was single, I played a lot of poker. One of the things about being at the table was pretty much everybody was posturing and lying. Especially at the low to mid level stakes games all of the players are obsessed about bluffing and are paranoid about being bluffed. This led to all kind of erratic behavior on the part of the players with everybody obsessed about "picking up on tells" when other players were bluffing.
I learned that the best way to play them was just wait until I had a really good hand and then bet it strongly. I could sit at the table for 2 hours doing nothing and then reraise some guy all in preflop and somebody would usually call me. Of course I'd turn over my pocket rockets and they'd all just say that they thought that I was bluffing.
What I've learned about figuring out how people act was to watch for patterns of behavior, not just 1 thing. Also I would watch for when a player's behavior changed. Did the guy who's always irresponsibly raising suddenly play his hand passively? That would be an indicator that he has an actual good hand. The way to pick up on real tells was after I'd watched them play for a few hours and suddenly their behavior changes. That was always the sign that something was up.
Texting LOL once could be a sign of gammaness. What is going on with it? When looking at people and figuring out their SSH rank, you always have to look at the pattern of behavior and all the actions to get a good feel for what people are.
lol

Don't forget the recent Christian "convert", Richard Dawkins.

Best Guess: Gamma
According to "A Dearth of Bravos" on this blog, Dawkins is either Delta or Gamma: https://sigmagame.substack.com/p/a-dearth-of-bravos
And this from Vox: "Dawkins, who as a scientific celebrity surmounted his natural gamma status some time ago":

I would add "inappropriate" as a tell, because most times it means you broken the secret rules the secret king has weaponized.

Instead of worrying about "the social line" cultivate the virtue of silence.
This is a habit where you only say something if it is truly necessary for the ultimate good.
Forget about the social line. You aren't ready for that. If it's not necessary, don't say it.
".... cultivate the virtue of silence." Great advice. Almost always a winner.
You're doing it again, buddy.

Yup. Weaponization of rules and setting themselves up as both judge and opposing attorney are two major gamma manifestations.
See my reply to Kano555 on this same thread.
This is very true. Observation of patterns of behaviour is key.

I *Love* the art style on the images for this stack
Ai art?
Is it really a style of it's not a person doing it?
The same as the different appearance of metalworking done by a very experienced craftsman using mostly handtools vs. those produced by a CNC machine.
Even parts produced on CNC machines can have different finish styles dependent upon who the programmer is.
AI art is distinguishable from human art. That makes it an art style.
There are even different AI art styles. I have gotten some sweet images from Bing AI, but was not very impressed with Gab's earlier AI art generator.

There seems to be a lot to dig into around the obsession with "one simple trick" in lieu of more relevant pattern identification and application.
People like easy solutions; they do not like life-long crosses.
Better to stay textually silent than use an emoji. At least it leaves it hanging until you can see them in person again.
