"In a 2020 interview with the Canadian publication the Signal, Stay talked about his work ethic and offered his advice for aspiring artists.
“If you’re making a beat, release it and then make 5,000 more. If you have like 10 songs out and you think they are good, well, make a lot more,” Stay said. “The best people in this industry are working hard, every day. It’s a grind.”

If something is hard, that usually means it's worth doing. There's a reason most people give up and fail or take the easy way out. No amount of bitching is going to make the task easier. Suck it up and get it done.
Most people don't see all your failures, especially when you reach success. Losers will only see the success and try to avoid doing the hard work that got you there. Winners know it's either hard work or skill and only repeated successes filter out the lucky from the skilled.
"Don't be a pussy" and "Keep practicing" are probably the most useful pieces of advice for Deltas, next to "Stop helping" and "Shut the fuck up". It's often very easy to let yourself become disheartened and demoralized. I wonder if that's why God hard-coded the concept of "Duty" to Deltas, as a way to compensate for our lack of the natural self-sustaining confidence of the high status men.
I realized a few years ago that I was letting the perfect be the enemy of the good too often, and was consequently becoming less productive.
Better to leave a good poem written, or a decent song finished than to leave 1,000 unfinished pieces of detritus floating out to the horizon because they weren't perfect.
Not to mention the feeling of finally succeeding after months or years of dead-end failure is something else. The knowledge that you are among the <1% who finished the race is a wonderful sensation hard to describe.
It has nothing to do with Sigma. It applies to everyone. The Grind won't make you a Sigma, but it will help you become more successful and accomplished.
