Intentionality is not an Excuse
Never double down on retardery
Paris does not intend to send military personnel to Ukraine in the foreseeable future, French President Emmanuel Macron has stated a week after appearing to suggest otherwise. He also insisted that France is “not at war against the Russian people.”
In an exclusive interview with the Czech outlets Novinky.cz and Pravo this Monday, Macron clarified that his previous statement “does not mean that we are considering sending French troops to Ukraine in the near future, but that we are opening a debate and thinking about everything that can be done to support Ukraine, especially on its territory.”
Previously, on Thursday, the French leader stressed that his original comment had been “weighed, thought-through and measured.”
When someone says something that is objectively stupid, or meets with an unexpectedly critical response, it is quite common for them to double down on their initial mistake by claiming that what others perceive as a mistake was actually part of a double-secret plan to lure their critics and thereby accomplish… something that is somehow never described.
The fact that there is never any benefit to publicly looking like a clown or inspiring others to dismiss them as a clown doesn’t seem to dissuade them from thinking that this very clever subterfuge is a meaningful and substantive defense of their previous retardery. The problem is that to everyone else, the difference between you genuinely being retarded and only pretending to be retarded is both nonexistent and irrelevant.
This has long been known by the meme masters.
The thing is, if you weighed, thought through, and carefully measured what you were going to say, and then went ahead to say something stupid, that’s actually much worse than if you were speaking off the cuff, or were drunk, and simply said something you never actually intended to say.
Consider the following situation: If your girlfriend tells you that she hates you, would it concern you more or less if she did so calmly, just one day after telling you that she had doubts about the relationship and needed to think about whether she wanted to continue it or not, or if she screams it at you while she’s drunk because she’s jealous of a pretty younger woman she saw talking to you when you were out together earlier that evening?
The point is that is a serious mistake to claim “I meant to do that” when you didn’t. Now, if you happen to be a dark lord given to designing games and Xanatos gambits for your personal amusement, sometimes it is necessary to explain to people that you did, indeed, intend certain consequences that most people were not capable of foreseeing. But in general, if you say something stupid or if you make a mistake, just admit to it.
The inability to take a loss is a strong indicator of low male status. Remember, only a secret king always wins.

Ok, now I'm interested in the kinds of Xanatos Gambits a Dark Lord has unleashed on his unsuspecting victims. For science.
In the Clown World what should be the Real King is playing the part of the Secret King. I wonder if one of these Secret Kings has already explained how losing to Russia was the plan all along. In fact, they are the Real Winners and Russia the Real Loser.
