But it is not my problem to solve. That is one for the gentleman.
These guys didn't watch the whole thing. Zelensky talked for 40 minute before the clash. Stop acting like it was some tiny scripted event. Rubio convinced Trump to give Zelensky enough rope to hang himself, and that's what happened. At some point Vance found it unbearable and spoke up. The end.
Learned behavior is diametrically opposite instinct. Unfortunately, the nature of Gamma is instinctively resistant to the notion of instinct. It is the most unintentionally ironic of profiles. In this case, it’s that [being of pure logic who transcends human foibles] archetype so many of them fantasize over. Even more ignorant than stupid, but an oddly common delusion bubble. With reality the cruel needle.
Anyone who could even entertain the idea Alpha is learned has never hung with Alphas.
Knowing what you know about male group dynamics since the age of four, if a man walked into a dojo, a barracks, or a locker room and introduced himself as Reginald Merriweather III, Esquire, aka "Reggie the edgy", do you REALLY think things would go uphill from there?
Vox is a hard audience to impress. If he's taking the time to point out your commentary, then 9 times out of 10 it isn't going to be for a good reason.
Yes, training is absolutely not instinct. The real internal pattern reveals itself in moments of pressure or surprise. Readers take note of that, the internal instinct of a man is always lurking under their skin. Look at user Bryce, as soon as the most minor amount of pressure was applied on his ego the full gamma rage came out. Similarly the more pressure got put on Vance the more he struggled with delta tendencies. If a surprise missile suddenly hit the White House Trump would be 100% alpha and Vance would suddenly have trouble not being a 100% Delta. It's also why Zelensky was constantly prodding and saying absurd things, to try and throw Vance's trained-in Bravo game off balance which it did.
For most people training only works in the contexts they've practiced in. To illustrate the difference between Sigma and probably-Bravo/Delta instinct there was a house party where someone got drunk and wandered outside and got hit by a car. There was an active duty combat medic there who just froze and stared - I'm confident that if he was in a warzone he would have taken command over situation but right now he was just dude-at-a-party. His training did not and could not overcome his natural placidity, especially in a context outside his normal work. It was a sigma who ran out no more than 10 seconds after the accident, told people to block the road and administered CPR he distantly recalled from years-ago corporate training on the spot.
This, incidentally, is where women are very talented. They will suss out your true SSH tendencies eventually with one curveball or another. The situational alpha tends to struggle with the top tier babe because his training can't and won't cover all aspects of his life.
"It's also why Zelensky was constantly prodding and saying absurd things, to try and throw Vance's trained-in Bravo game off balance which it did."
I don't think Zelensky is that good of a manipulator: it has come out that Blinken, Nuland, and one of the Lt. Col. Vindman brothers - this is treason - met with Zelensky before he met with Trump & Vance. There was also a photo of a larger group which met with Zelensky before the White House meeting. I think that these two groups treacherously war-gamed the meeting with Trump for the dwarf.
I enjoy the new Gammas only to watching them crash and burn. Sometimes I get bummed when they get banned and their comments deleted before the popcorn is done.
Part of the usefulness of this substack is seeing the real life examples play out. The predictive nature of the SSH is amazing.
A few here have likened gamma thought patterns to those of women. A fewer number of people have observed that when women are talking about themselves or something like their day at work that, in reality, they're talking to themselves. Their eyes are not on the listener/victim, but 'far away' reliving the moment.
So, that's begs the question: When gammas gamma who are they really talking to?
Useful in women - I’d have “conversations” outloud with myself when I had infants in which I would perform both my and the incapable infant’s side of the conversation:
Uh oh, you’re crying. Are you hungry?
Baby spits out bottle.
Oooops, nope, not hungry. Maybe maybe your diaper is stinky. Oh no, stinky diaper must be very uncomfortable. Let’s go fix that for you.
And on and on- it lets the woman in-group the baby, who is otherwise a screaming incomprehensible terrorist.
When I was introducing older children to how to interact with a new baby, I’d even do the baby’s voice outloud it a cutesy little baby voice. Which helps toddlers and preschool aged kids understand that the baby is a person and not a doll.
For gammas, maybe they’re talking to any audience members that have the intellectual capabilities of toddlers to get them to buy into the gamma’s secret knighthood?
It took me a long time to accept that the SSH wasn't a ladder you can climb. It's completely antithetical to everything we were taught growing up in America. "You can be anything you want to be if you work hard enough. You can even become President!" A ridiculous notion considering most men are Deltas and a Delta will never become President (unless he's a puppet).
You are what you are. Accept it. Work with it. Make the most of what you've got.
The "you can be anything you want to be" shtick was one of the most effective psyops leveled against my generation. It is a distorted facsimile of the real promise of America. America was meant to be a place where you could build a legacy, defend it, and pass it on to your children--all without government interference. Believing that lie caused us to despise the legacies built by our fathers, even as we lost the ability to recognize and defend what America was supposed to be.
The best a different rank can do is learn what the other rank does and immitate it. In a controlled setting they can seem to be that immitated rank. This is what actors do. Giod actors do it well.
Why does anyone feel the need to incessantly correct people unless it is in something that influences your quality of life? It's a waste of time. Laugh at them, pity them, ignore them. You have to already have respect from a person for them to even consider your words. If someone doesn't know you, you don't have their respect and are wasting your breath!
We need better men, men. We need better Christian fathers raising up better Christian men. The internet will not save us.

The nice thing about addictions is the temptations do blunt over time.
I am sure I would still fall off the wagon if I started giving in to temptation but it has become much easier over the years to resist.
The response from Esquire enlarged and reinforced his gammatude then wonders why people are laughing. That's a clown performing without knowing.
Knowing what you know about male group dynamics since the age of four, if a man walked into a dojo, a barracks, or a locker room and introduced himself as Reginald Merriweather III, Esquire, aka "Reggie the edgy", do you REALLY think things would go uphill from there?
Clearly he would be accepted for all that he said he was and that would be that.
Japan has a concept called "8th grade syndrome" where delusional kids make up stories about their grand powers or whatever.
Gammas hit 30 and are still going strong with their delusions that nothing external reinforces

Gammas dont need training to poke and prod and annoy and destroy.
Its in their makeup to do it like breathing.

My Pastor says something like "We cant be more than God intends us to be, but we can always be less"
He's...having a dialogue with himself. It's hard to formulate a reply to that.

That's what projection is. The use of another person as a stand-in for oneself.
I think that commenter is also a baby boomer.

With a reference to a less-than-new game show in his Substack name, it’s a valid hypothesis. I’m Gen Z and I’ve never seen that show on television.
I hate that I know this. I promise it's only from TVs in car dealership waiting rooms and hotel lobbies.
But The Price is Right is still on television.
Even so- you’d have to have a television. Which is also boomer.
I’ve had to explain to my boomers that not having a tv doesn’t mean we don’t watch shows- there are computers for that
The comparatively gentle boop of the wheel spinning was a favorite sci fi sound effect.
Really? I figured we were down to Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune by now.
Maybe Family Feud, because YouTube serves me Steve Harvey every now and then.
Maybe. I can't tell them apart.
Wow, it's still on the air. I don't know that I've ever seen it outside a Family Guy joke.
I watched The Price is Right in the 90 when I stayed home sick from school. It was on late mornings in my market.

America was meant to be that place for Americans.
Everyone else has to go back. Good luck, Americans.
Absolutely.

Otherwise every movie would be nothing but Lambdas.
Hollywood has to round it out with Gammas to complete their understanding of humanity.
Why does anyone feel the need to incessantly correct people unless it is in something that influences your quality of life? It's a waste of time. Laugh at them, pity them, ignore them. Gammas cannot respect. They can only fear, and that had a limited shelf life because they are not good at social risk assessment.
