Really went out on his gamma shield

I remember reading his book “The Dilbert Principle” back when I was on the lowest rung of the office ladder. His insights have stayed with me, especially now that I sit on a wee bit higher place in middle management as the situational Bravo of the office.

Rest in peace, Mr. Adams.

P.S. Vox, I wonder who were the other comic artists in your top five?

It just occurred to me that Scott Adams' letter was written on the 1st and Scott only died a few days ago, and in that time I heard that he was close to and/or was converting. The letter above sounds tongue-in-cheek wrt getting his eternal reward, but he may have had a change of heart as he realized his time was (very) short. I'm now leaning 100% sure that Scott did accept Christ when his time came. Good for him. I'm sure he will have brought many more souls with him.

What I find saddest about Scott's death is that he reportedly got the death jab to go on his honeymoon. Then his influencer bride not surprisingly dumped him a few years later. Is that a case of Death by Being a Gamma?

It was quite touching to see him streaming updates until the end of his life - his openness and desire for connection was disarming. Rest in Peace, Scott.

Satans glee with Cancer may be on borrowed time -- A high profile Cancer deathbed conversion, could have a domino effect...... and likely there will be many more in Scotts position. This sounds morbid, but Cancer was a blessing for him.

No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. Ultimately, Scott brought good into the world that we all benefit from. He also indirectly brought me to Vox Day. For that I am grateful. RIP.

The writer that comes to mind for me as the archetypal gamma is Rod Dreyer.

I, I, I, I, me, me, my, me. Damn that's hard to read.

Vox, this was a beautiful post, full of grace and truth. Thank you.

I always loved this comment by Jesus: "Whoever confesses me before men, him I will confess before my Father in heaven." (Matthew 10:32) Jesus is in the business of getting people into heaven, not looking for reasons to keep people out. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I WILL come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Rev 3:20) Seems pretty clear to me. In these things, it's best to become simple like a child. Jesus means what He says.

God is the final judge, but based on these promises I believe that Scott is currently experiencing a love so intense and powerful, its effect removes all pain and sorrow. He is resting in peace.

Did he tell Shelley he loved her?

Pfft.

SirHamster's avatar

You may be joking, but Shelly Adams, her sister, and his step-daughter were the ones who took care of his end-of-life.

She's the one who broke the news on his channel with tears.

I sure hope he said it, because she loved him.

ScuzzaMan's avatar

Ah. I didn't know his sisters name.

I meant the other Shelley, the one he abused over being right about the death vaxx.

SirHamster's avatar

Shelly the ex-wife and her sister, not his sister.

That was not a profession of faith. That was one last attempt to prove he was smarter than everyone else, including God.

Masked Menace's avatar

God is smarter than Scott Adams and you. Leave the judgement of a man's heart to Him.

Kenneth Griffith's avatar

It was a judgment of his words.

SirHamster's avatar

Are you sure you want to volunteer for your words to be judged? God is impartial.

It's not a binary.

I wonder how long he was battling cancer and if his comments regarding the clot shots in 2021 and 2022 were due to him being sick.

Jason Scoggins's avatar

Agreed, top to bottom. Saw only the headline midday and my immediate reaction was to disagree…and then realized he couldn’t be anything but. Probably the GOAT gamma, but gamma nonetheless. I’ll miss him and his contributions to the world. Thanks for the tribute post, and the provocative addition to the canon, Vox

I will most certsinly miss him.

Though, I'm not saying it's the v**, but...

Dan in Alabama's avatar

It most certainly was the vaxx. The guy was in the top 1% for fitness until he caved and got the shots. The vaxx destroys the immune system, very similar to having AIDS. It's also known for causing what's been referred to as "turbo-cancer", i.e. cancer on steroids, which it turns out, is exactly what Scott died from.

Robert Garron's avatar

The same happened with my cousin.

Eff around and find out, as you Americans have begun to say.
