Eagerly anticipating the arrival of the definitive published work on the SSH. Every kid in Youth Group is getting one. I can’t wait to hear “Lamda” as a derogatory term.

Someone please explain - why is Ohio on the list?

To everyone accepting this idea of calling the younguns "generation alpha" stop it now. The powers-that-should-not-be came up with that name to water down the SSH term Alpha. Reject it!

Also teacher, “This sucks. I’m bummed out that my students are such dorks. It really blows that they use slang in my classroom.”

The student’s slang is less vulgar and arguably more descriptive and useful than the teacher’s slang.

I'm honestly curious whether putting a list of banned words on the whiteboard in grade school classrooms is a good idea or not. Any teachers want to weigh in? Does it decrease or increase usage?

I can relate to any teacher who's sick of hearing "skibidi toilet". But I'm nonplussed that "Mewing" made the list.

How many of the students will look up the banned terms to see what is the big deal? This will just spread the concepts!

Omegas made the ban board, but not Deltas... and before you say "The Gammas didn't make it either", please realize that doesn't help. That actually makes it worse.

Omegas are outside the hierarchy and fair game for targeting in a way the Gammas aren't.

I hope the concepts contained in the SSH aren't diluted too much in the minds of the masses when the masses begin to accept them. Yes, they will be diluted a fair amount (because MPAI) but one would think the core content of what Vox shares here is powerful enough to penetrate most peoples' inherent retardation. But I could be wrong, we'll see.

I'm surprised the word "longhouse" isn't on that Banned Words list.

My daughter goes to a private school about 25 mins from my house. One of our neighbors sends their kids there as well, a 3rd grade boy and a kindergarten girl. At least once a week the boy breaks out into a chat of sigma-sigma-sigma. A few nights ago my 1st grader daughter decided to explain to me what a sigma is and explained that a sigma is somebody who is very very good at Roblox. Sigma is all the rage today.

In all seriousness this has to be a good thing because it means that our ideas are getting out there and this generation of boys when they get into the dating years will be more open to red pill truth about how to get a date-girlfriend-wife. They could go a long way to slowing or even stopping the decline of humanity.

In a few years we might need to break Roosh out of retirement to help these young men on their way.

If you're thinking of getting Roosh back on the scene better do it before he gets tonsured as a novice!

NONE OF THEIR SLANG MAKES SENSE!!

Cedric's avatar

It does make sense. Its point is to infuriate and exclude the older.

Gen alpha slang is myred in gay therapy-talk (e.g. gaslight instead of manipulate, toxic instead of asshole).

Ban my words, and I will only become more powerful

The absence of delta is likely due to the presence of beta. As a concept delta just doesn't have as much popularity, gamma is in a similar boat, being rolled into beta, the other part is gamma is deeply unpopular due to how many uncomfortable realisations ride on it's back.

Sigma is mostly carried by absurdist memes, the concept of being outside the hierarchy is about the only part that gets through the noise

Lambda has the issue that most terms for sodomites give it stiff competition.

Still, distorted and half-joking in form, it has arrived at the future.

Children.

Making delta more desirable would be best but uhh...

There's fundamental difficulties to that.

The building blocks of humanity just doesn't have the rizz and humour of sigma grindset.

Reflecting on it though, you don't really want people to be effective deltas when society deserves destruction.

Deltas after all, can hold up normal world or clown world on their backs.

Delta grind and trench work make the gears and lifts and keep them level, lubricated, and tuned.

The beauty of an old cathedral or a brutalist McD's, the hands are the same.

What sorrow when honest labour is turned to hollow ends.

How has gamma not entered the lingo yet?? I heard about it years ago and it describes a certain type of man so well it's helped me a lot (ex. oh, that boss who went from being nice to bullying me out of a job was obviously gamma)

taignobias's avatar

"Beta" is still making the rounds. If the SSH hits full adoption, Gamma will have to replace "Beta" so that there's room for Bravo.

It would save people so much grief and drama in their personal/professional lives if they knew the signs. The destruction gammas can wreak on friend groups & the lives of women who don't have good defenses is insane, I've seen it over and over.

They really predate on women with daddy issues (which is a *lot* of women)

Though tbf I think it's just as likely the concept wouldn't make it into the public sphere intact enough to actually be useful...
